What to do. This is the result of so clled "Development". If you have a chance to hike any mountains with the starting point at Pos Brooke (somewhere along the Cameron Highlands - Gua Musang highway), you will come across this red red view.

Well, it depends on how you view it. If you are the one who enjoy the nature inside the jungle, then you may consider it. If you are the one who likes to see sceneries from the mountain summit, then there is not much nice view. From my last year hiking trip, it was drizzling on the summit and nothing much could be seen.

This mountain is not like Irau. It is not muddy and it is dry along the way to the summit. The hike to the summit and return to starting point is approximately 13 km.

actually I don't mind so much about view, just being among the forest and cold mountain air is good enough for me.
13km probably a 4 hours hike max I guess ... correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, a 4 hrs hike to the summit and faster time when hiking back should take you less time.
